EYE LEGO Engineering Design Challenges: Transportation Innovation

Challenge:  Create a new method of transportation that is environmentally friendly.

Engineering Goals:

• Think outside the box about transportation methods that don't yet exist 
• Explore forms of alternative energy that are more eco-freindly 

Leader Instructions/Tips:

• If students are up for a more extreme challenge, add the constraint that no wheels are allowed. This gets students to really start thinking outside of the box! We saw many great new inventions as well as innovations involving wind power.
